60th Independence Day & Malaysia Day Parade in front of PSA

Malaysians in Sabah celebrated our 60th Independence Day and Malaysia Day on August 31, 2017 and September 16, 2017 respectively in front of our properties at PSA and MCRC in Kota Kinabalu! September 16 is celebrated every year to commemorate the establishment of the Malaysian federation on the same date in 1963. It marked the joining together of Malaya, North Borneo and Sarawak to form Malaysia.
Looking out of our windows, we could see contingents from our Federal and State civil servants took part in the parade. Vintage cars, national defence armours add to the sound and colours our national day celebrations.
